Solo Project: Coco Bans

“The artist’s charisma and her powerful pop-folk left us filled with emotion. Coco Bans gives you chills, like few artists can.” LOST SONG

Who is Coco Bans?

Captain of broken hearts. Preacher of emotions.

Coco Bans is Allyson Ezell’s claiming of her own personal creative safe space. Created in 2018 with three musician friends as originally what was intended to be just a couple concerts for fun - a way for Allyson to stretch her legs between music sessions and try out some of her own compositions - the project was catapulted into another realm when a tour agent happened upon them in an underground Parisian club.

Coco Bans rapidly took form. Allyson worked with Jo Pereira to record and co-produce the first tracks that would become the debut EP Fantasy & Parables.

And then, a last-minute slot at the MaMA Festival in Paris playing at the renowned rock venue La Boule Noire, sold-out and packed to the back of the room. Rolling Stone named Coco Bans in their Top 5 artists to watch following the festival and that was it: the ball was rolling.

Coco Bans has since played festivals around France and Europe, concerts in the UK, opening shows for Mike Shinoda and Brittany Howard, appeared on national radio and TV, received multiple awards and grants and released the LP, Chronicles of an Altered Life.
